ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND TOURISM

The World today is crying for the decline of tourism industry due to Covid-19 pandemic engulfing it. Each country is trying to take various means to ensure that the industry is not facing natural death.

The President and Command in Chief of the United Republic of TanzaniaHer Excellence,SamiaSuluhu Hassan recently involved in making a movie that will expose Tanzania’s tourism industry into the world. It is expected that, when the world sees that movie will be attracted to visit Tanzania and hence increase government income through the industry

To support this strategy, Command and Staff College-Duluti (CSC), through the ongoing Command and Staff Course 36/21, opted to research on “Environmental Conservation and Tourism.” Therefore,on the 24th September, 2021 the Course visited Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCAA), for research work and as part of local tourism. Located more than 150km, west of Arusha City.Ngorongoro is a wonderful crater that encompasses both Maasai inhabitants and wildlife.

The Commandant of CSC, Brigadier General Sylvester Damian Ghuliku on his introductory remarks said“Senior Officers attending the course,are exposed to different subjects and among them is National and International Affairs, which apart from what they learn from the class they also conduct researches on different aspects.”
